About Us
Pacific Mountain Region
The Pacific Mountain Regional Council is an administrative body within the United Church of Canada, which covers British Columbia and Yukon. Some church properties have been redeveloped to provide affordable rentals. Other church buildings are offered as affordable meeting, office, treatment room, or event space rental for community organizations or individuals.
Property Development Council
Church Building Rentals
The Property Development Council (PDC) of Pacific Mountain Region is an incorporated BC society responsible for holding, purchase, transfer, and sale of Pacific Mountain Region's property. Some properties are held for long-term use, while other properties might be sold or developed.
Church properties are often available to the public for rent as community meeting or event spaces during the time we hold them. At present, we have two properties available for groups or individuals to rent: First Metropolitan in Victoria and Penticton United in Penticton.
Community Renewal Society
Apartment Rentals
The Community Renewal Society (CRS) of British Columbia is an Incorporated Society in BC, and a non-profit organization with charitable designation. We are dedicated to building community through homes, connections and families. The CRS aims to strengthen the bonds between neighbours through shared spaces and family-oriented needs. In partnership with BC Housing and CMHC, we are redeveloping some BC United Church properties into affordable housing. Two properties are already operating and another is scheduled to break ground soon.
We have hired the property management company First Service Residential to manage our housing units.
